BA Command not accepting the PIN for encryption

I have used BA command for encrypting the clear PIN
Command sent is as follows

BAFFFFFF

01 02 03 04 42 41 46 46 | BAFF
46 46 46 46 20 20 20 20 | FFFF
20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 |

Simulators throws this error

Invalid value detected for field [PIN].
Received [FFFFFF ] but expected a hexadecimal value.

Any idea what could be the problem with the above command?

Thanks for all the help.

Hi there,

I see 3 prblems here:
  1. The mssage header should be in hex, not binary so you shold be sending '1234' (31 32 33 34) not '01 02 03 04'
  2. The PIN should be numerical. For example if you are going to encrypt 1234, this part should be 1234F. Note how many paddng 'F' is depending on how you configure the simulator.
  3. Account nuber should be numrical too, for testing you can put any number here but not spaces.
