Windows Simulator - LMK Pairs functionality

Jun 25, 2012 at 9:50 PM

Hi Forum,

What is the purpose of LMK Pairs screen?

What are the slots?  What do they represent?

Why are they initially unpopulated?

What is the purpose of the "Key" field and "Calculate all" button?

Many thanks,

Chris

This is something written very long ago. You get to enter a key and see how it will be encrypted under all LMK pairs.

What is the meaning of the five columns in the UI - 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4?

Many thanks,

Looking through the code, the columns seem to represent variants:
Col 0 = No variant
Col 1 = A6
Col 2 = 5A
Col 3 = 6A
Col 4 = DE
Though I'm confused why only 4 variants are displayed and not all 9.
